How to apply

Fill out an entry form on-line on the Contest Web site , checking in at the top of the form, the box identified "PROJECT CONCERNED BY BUSINESS TRANSITION"

Note : A photograph of the promoter or team of promoters must be uploaded when registering online.

Prepare a business plan, which must:

• be limited to approximately 50 pages in length, including financial statements and appendixes; other materials may be presented during the interviews
• include a table of contents
• the document may be printed on both sides of the paper
• if possible, it should include the business's financial statements for the past three years in the application package.

The business plan must reflect the specific criteria set out for the Business Transition Prize; in other words, all themes corresponding to the evaluation criteria must be well integrated or presented in the plan’s appendix. If necessary, also include a letter explaining the development of the project since the business plan was first developed.

Please note:

• The Contest organizers do not advocate a specific business plan model. This is left to the applicants’ discretion, in accordance with the information given above.
• The application packages as well as all the accompanying documents will be destroyed at the end of the evaluation procedure. The registration forms will be used for research and statistical analysis.

Send to the local organization covering the municipality in which the promoter intends to launch the business, five copies of the business plan and the entry form no later than March 19, 2012, 4 p.m.

Local Contest representative will ensure that the application package is complete; only after this verification is done will he be able to confirm that the project is entered in the Contest. He will forward to the regional organization all the projects submitted to their establishment.
