Since its inception, the Québec Entrepreneurship Contest has witnessed the creation of thousands of new businesses throughout Québec. In complying with the terms of the Contest, the people who set up these businesses had their projects analyzed and scrutinized by various selection committees. Many of these companies went on to win regional prizes, while some of them were declared prizewinners at the provincial level.

The Québec Entrepreneurship Contest administrators have undertaken to update the profiles of all of the regional and provincial prizewinning companies that are still in business. These companies have brilliantly overcome the start-up hurdles they faced and become truly successful.

To familliarize you with them, we have produced the Directory of Prizewinners in the Business Creation Division. This gives you access to the list of all these businesses and gives you general information on each.

To compile this Directory, we had to make numerous telephone calls to the companies listed, and carry out an exhaustive search of various specialized sites.
